Mission Statement
Our mission is to bring a warm and human female voice to the highly technical read. With our background in oncology, emergency medicine, hospice and palliative care we can speak with fluidity and ease in medical jargon.

When a project requires a warm voice to explain complex medical procedures Medspeak can service the more challenging reads.

The Talent

Karole Davies

Karole Davies

Karole Davies is a Radiation Therapist with twenty-five years of experience in oncology. She graduated from Henry Ford Hospital School of Radiation Oncology and has worked at hospitals in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Texas. She has attended seminars in breast cancer care, hospice and palliative care. She completed Kate Hart’s Intensive Voice-Over Training and is currently a reading tutor for Oakland Literacy Council. Karole is a firm believer in patient advocacy and helps family and friends navigate the complex medical system.

Lisa Quinlan

Lisa Quinlan

Lisa Quinlan is a Registered Nurse with twenty years of experience in various medical areas. She has degrees in Education and Nursing from Henry Ford College as well Eastern Michigan University. Her background in theater helps tremendously with voiceover work. She continues to pursue training to strengthen her voice by studying breathing techniques and using dialects. She completed Kate Hart’s Intensive Voice-Over Training and is currently giving lectures to local nursing students on Hospice and Palliative Care. She is also an active Collegiate Advisor for her sorority.

Karen has a broad medical and psychological knowledge base which began more than 40 years ago by transcribing physician’s notes for an OB/GYN office and continues today with transcription for a doctor of psychology.  Along the way, she has become familiar with the following disciplines:  cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology and gerontology.  Additionally, she has a broad base of knowledge of alternative and holistic healing techniques and terms.  Her work has included a great deal of patient contact and emotional support, as well as eldercare and insurance challenges.  It has also included phone system recordings as well as seminar presentations and teaching.
